Before we jump into the kit specifications, let us just state that we are talking about one of the most experienced manufacturers in the world of vaping, i.e. Lost Vape.

The brand’s products have recently captured the attention of a massive audience, and the launch of their Back to Basic BTB vape kit has undoubtedly given a greater boost to their fame. The wattage range is between 5-100W, and the kit features a Centaurus DNA 250C dual battery mod.

Lost Vape BTB 100W Starter Kit ReviewGiven the hype around this vaping kit, we thought it best to sit down and do a detailed review of the Lost Vape BTB 100W starter kit. We will talk about the build quality, design, functions, features, and more in this brief. Plenty on offer to learn for you if you are interested in this kit!

Build And Design

We are a fan of aesthetics, so let us talk about the colour scheme in which this starter vape kit is available before we proceed any further. It is quite an extensive color range, featuring blue camo, black vintage, black camo, matt black vintage stars and the SS vintage classic.

Moving on to more important stuff, we are talking about a compact mod here. Its physical dimensions are 91 mm in height, 36 mm in width and 25 mm in thickness. The durable zinc alloy used in the build of this starter kit gives an excellent feel to the hand.

Side panels are the first feature that will probably make you say, wow, that’s one trendy pick. Oh, and the branding is on the spot too, when you look at the labels Lost Vape and BTB printed on these side panels!

The starter kit has four buttons in total; the fire button is located right at the top. Its placement and size are ideal. Then, there are two adjustment buttons, as well as a mod button, all of which are located in the bottom corner. It is pertinent to mention here that all of these buttons are made of plastic.

As you might have guessed, pressing them is quite easy. The 0.96 inches full-color display screen is located right under the fire button. It is bright, clear and very intuitive!

All the useful information a user needs, including information about coil resistance, battery life indicator, puff counter, wattage and puff time, is displayed on this screen. One of the great things about this starter kit is the diversity in color range.

Users can opt between any of the six color themes by holding and pressing the select button for a couple of seconds. As evident from these lines, the manufacturers have certainly put in a lot of dedicated effort to design the Lost Vape BTB starter kit.

Functions And Features

The BTB starter kit features a single high-amp 18650 battery. Its maximum output is 100W. Unlike many other vape kits, the one under discussion doesn’t support pass-thru charging/vaping.

You can say that it is one of the significant downsides of this vape kit. But well, when you look at the battery life numbers, it makes up for that. It is good to give you company for at least sixty hours if you use it at 8W! Amp it up to 60W, and we are still talking about a battery life of at least 9 hours. That’s solid, we would say!

The 510 plate is slightly raised and is located on the top. It has a diameter of 20.5 mm. Please remember that the base mod has a diameter of only 24 mm. Hence, holding the large atomizers is almost impossible because of the incompatibility from a dimensional point of view.

The starter kit uses a side panel battery door. It takes a bit more effort to remove than the competitor vape kits. Panels are held firmly in place, courtesy of the two small magnets on top and one magnet at the bottom.

There is a variety of modes that the Lost Vape BTB starter kit features. These modes include power mode, voltage mode and TC mode. These modes are designed and installed to meet the different vaping needs. To switch between these different modes, a user must press the mode button and the adjustment button.

Ultra-Boost X Sub-Ohm Tank

Made of stainless steel, the Ultra Boost X tank features Pyrex glass. The diameter of the tank is around 24 mm. It has a holding capacity of around 4 ml of vape juice. Tank colors blend well with the vape kit. It features a top-fill design; there is a large fill port that can be opened easily.

Users can opt for either MTL or DL vaping. Please set airflow to small holes if you are after an MTL vape; otherwise, go with the slot in case you are after a DL draw. The BTB kit comes with two coils, a 0.2ohm DL coil rated for 4-60W and a 1.0ohm MTL coil rated for 8-15W. On higher wattages, around 15W, the vape kit produces a tight MTL draw with two airflow holes open.

There are so many things to like about this kit. We are giving it full marks for build quality, airflow adjustments, extensive temperature control suite and the ease with which it can be used. Instant firing, top-fill design and price range are some of the other pros that serve as massive plus points for the Lost Vape BTB kit.

We think that if the manufacturers could work a bit on the loose drip tips and stuck-y battery cover, the demand for this starter kit would increase even more, thereby increasing its audience significantly.

Final Verdict

Well, folks, that would be all from this brief. We wish we could have gone on a bit more and discussed the credentials of the Lost Vape BTB mod kit in detail. Unfortunately, we have run out of time and space for this brief.

Nevertheless, we are pretty optimistic that this brief helped you realize whether or not this vape kit is for you.  It offers an excellent experience coupled with variety and convenience. So, writing it down in your diary of probable candidates for your next purchase is not bad!
